You will operate under the banner of a well-respected, long-established and market leading brand. We have invested substantially in developing the Kare Plus brand and in building our reputation as a recognised provider of outstanding care services. As a Kare Plus franchisee, you share in that brand capital and beneﬁt from our standing in the marketplace.
We will agree a substantial dedicated territory for your business, which will be well-researched and closely-targeted, with a minimum population of 50,000 over 65 year olds. You will be given detailed mapping and demographic information for your territory, highlighting all hospitals, care homes, nursing homes and other client bases in your area.
Comprehensive training & Ongoing support
You will receive in-depth initial training on an intensive 5 day residential course, delivered by our dedicated Kare Plus team of experienced clinical and business professionals, and supported by a comprehensive training manual. We will also provide advice and practical on-going support as you launch your business and begin to recruit and train staff. Our training program includes supporting you in approaching clients and winning business. We help with dual calling and initial site visits to help you gain in conﬁdence and deliver a clear, professional message.
Of course, in this highly regulated market, it is vital that Kare Plus keeps abreast of new legislation, methods and applications. The CQC (Care Quality Commission) is tasked with ensuring all providers meet a strict and compliant standard within England, therefore, we will offer regular training courses to update you and your staff, providing the protection and reassurance that your business is operating to a best practice model and is in compliance with the latest CQC directives. We work closely with other Governing bodies within healthcare such as the NMC (Nursing, Midwifery Council) to ensure you are able to grow a robust business that exceeds legislative requirements. We work with the other regulatory bodies across the UK where applicable.
Business planning & set up
We will work with you to ensure you develop a realistic business plan, based on your own aspirations and our understanding of the potential clients on your territory, and will provide expert advice on keeping accounts and planning for the future. You will also receive computer software to help control your business income and expenditure. We can also help and advice on ofﬁce set-up and will provide your PC, purposed designed software systems, ofﬁce branding and administrative materials.
Purpose-designed IT system
Our specialist IT system has been developed particularly for the healthcare market. It is designed to make operating your business as smooth as possible and takes away much of the administrative burden associated with running a franchise. You will be linked independently to this system and will be able to use it as required to follow the method and all-important compliance controls necessary to the successful operation of your business.
Although this will be your business and we will provide you with a marketing pack and access via a web portal to a range of marketing materials, we also take our responsibilities for marketing our brand and supporting our franchisees very seriously. Therefore, we will continue to invest in central marketing and PR activities to increase brand awareness in the marketplace and to promote our services to potential clients.
Access to national contracts
As an established operator in the healthcare marketplace, Kare Plus already has an existing customer base and is listed as a preferred supplier with an increasing number of care home and nursing home groups nationwide. We are also currently bidding for a series of NHS and Local Authority contracts, all of which creates opportunity for Kare Plus franchisees to make money from helping us to fulﬁl contractual commitments at a regional level.
